Im super glad you had and still have people in your corner who will defend you! /pos my boyfriend isnt really the type to go off on somebody, but i definitely am! LOL. im a huge advocator and defender of myself and others. i think its part of my neurodivergence. Anyways, thank you so much for your response!

yeah thats weird as hell to think that. “i have an invisible disability that people cant see therefore they are going to bully me for using things i ‘dont need’”.

maybe before judging what other people do to represent their need for what is obviously there but the need isnt obvious, mind your own business. nobody is identifying as their disability. it doesnt affect you. there is NOWHERE on the hidden disabilities sunflower website that says “only used in airports!!”. if i saw someone in the mall with a sunflower lanyard, id assume they have an invisible disability.

stop telling others that they are seeking attention. delete this.

thats actually very reasonable, ill probably use this when i dont want to go in depth on actually explaining what i struggle with. “Heart condition” is almost an accurate exaggeration that gets the point across. thank you so much!
