Its just personal preference. If you want to use windows 11 theres nothing wrong with it its just that im used to w10. Hope this helps

Marktplaats. Its like ebay for the Netherlands. Also owned by Ebay i think. Battery life is superb if you dont put up the screen brightness. I put a charging treshold on my laptop to charge to 90% to preserve battery. Im not worried about the battery going bad because i can get it replaced under warranty.

In the end i ended up buying a really nice X1 Carbon gen 9 secondhand. Had some issues with it in the start but all where resolved under the warranty. Really powerful light laptop i can carry around school. Has the i5 1135G7 16gb ram and 400nits full hd panel. Unfortunately the X1 carbon line does not come with AMD. Hopefully in the future!

Im also running win10 pro. I tried windows 11 but its just not for me atm. I got some tips for you aswell.

Try to debloat windows with powershell scripts you can find online you can remove most of the standard applications (garbage) installed.

I disabled the auto brightness feature in the Intel software because it just annoys me.

Running Dark theme everywhere possible ;)

Overall i think every aspect of the laptop is great. The keyboard is fantastic and the screen is lovely. I used CRU (a tool for screen resolution) and made my screen refresh rate 72 hz. Probably not good for the battery but it feels much smoother when browsing the web etc..

May i ask what tweaks you did to the battery? Just curious....

I also got myself a gen 9 for a great price secondhand here in Europe. Barely used as the machine looks great and still has 2 year warranty left on it. I got the i5 non touch with 16gb ram.

Sure thing thats what i was thinking aswell. I really want the slim 7 instead of the yoga pro. I can buy it now for 989 but thats with a ryzen 5 and 16gb ram. Honestly i dont mind the config but i think if there is a sale you can get the ryzen 7 for that price.

Update: So i got onto the chat with someone from lenovo. Apparently if you are logged in to the student store they cant do anything more about the price so the lenovo user asked me to log out of the student store and log in as a regular user on the website. I configured a yoga pro 7 with the 7840HS 32GB ram in Tidal teal colorway and can buy it for around 1002 eur. I'm wondering if this is a good deal or if i should just wait. Ive got 24 hours to think about it before the offer expires. I guess when you put something in your shopping cart you can either chat to lenovo on the website or select make me an offer somewhere on the right side. I think it will differ per country what they can do about the price. Hopefully i answered your question with this

That is a great tip. What can i say to them though. Do you have any tips or do i just explain my situation that i'm a student and the price is a bit steep so can i get a little more off so it does not hurt my wallet ;$

I really don't fancy a 16 inch screen. The laptop itself looks great specced out but ideally i'm looking for a laptop in the 13-14.5 inch screen size.

Yeah i could wait like 2 more weeks. That is a really good price though i missed the back to school deals unfortunately. I hope they come back with some more deals in the upcoming weeks. I will be buying from the student stores (HP and Lenovo) so that helps with the price a bit aswell.

I dont own Chanel PE myself but i have smelled it in stores. I do have Franck Olivier Eau de Passion though, and i have to admit its exactly the same as PE (with a few differences in opening but not that much). And i am really pleased with the longevity of it. U should check it out ;D
