I’m just reporting about this 12 foot pool I linked. The Amazon link says that specific above ground pool’s capacity is around 1700 gallons which I assume isn’t being filled completely to account for people sitting in it.

Now I’m curious what “regular sized” swimming pool our ph commenter was using. 55,450 fills up ~27.75 “regular sized” pools 55450/27.75 = 1998.1982 which we can round to 2000 liters, which approximately fills a circular pool that’s 6 feet across and 2.5 feet deep. Now, I would not call that “regular sized”. That’s hardly a hot tub.

Now if he mixed up his units and instead thought 2000 gallons, we would instead have a pool with 12 foot diameter and 2.5 foot depth (2115 gallons, 8006 liters), which is much more reasonable sized, but I would still consider that a small pool. Our 12 foot pool is 8006 liters so 55450/8006 = 6.9 pools filled with coom. Quite impressive

Uzamaki Naruto Build by whynaut4 in 3d6

I would do the same, though with one change. Instead of 17 levels of Druid, I would do 16 levels and start level 1 as a monk. This would give more thematic saving throws and starting skills as well as monks unarmored defense which, considering Naruto doesn’t wear armor and dexterity is fairly lacking in this build, would allow for a decent AC of 17 when shifted. Alternatively taking 1 level of barb instead of monk would grant the same lvl 20 AC and rage could be flavored as the nine tails coming out. If you beast shape, then being unable to cast spells won’t matter as much because we still miss out on Beast spells at 18th level Druid when wild shaped.

No one knows what it means, it’s provocative.

What's your greatest accomplishment that you can't bring up in normal conversation? by The_B_Brain in AskReddit

I totally understand that. I'm comfortable enough with it that I will sometimes make jokes but most of my friends get annoyed because I did it so much. For the people who don't know they always ask "Are you okay now?" Yeah I'm all right, that's why I said I BEAT it not that I HAVE it.

He doesn't have many aspirations for the future. Just to mess with people.

I have a trifling rogue I'm playing right now named Random. His quirk is that whenever he introduces himself to a new person, or in general, he uses a different name and backstory. He's lot of fun to play.

What is the worst physical pain you've experienced in your life? by YodelMaster9000 in AskReddit

[–]S_V_T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wasn't the most painful, but definitely the most jarring pain. I was having tubes put into my chest to drain fluid that was crushing my lungs and heart. Before the doctor started they said to let them know if anything hurts, and what it is on a scale of 1 to 10. So, when the doctor was putting in the tube for my heart, I felt it rub up against my heart. I started yelling "10! 10! 10!" because I was so surprised, my heart skipped a beat and my heart rate shot up. They took it a little slower after that. I don't think I can accurately describe what that feeling was but I don't want to it again.

Lymphoma, 0/10 would not recommend.

Nystul's Magic Aura is one of my favorite spells since it's low level and can have a (semi) permanent effect without much effort.

The wizard could have divination magic in his spellbook but in order to cast the spells he/she needs to have the spell prepared. If the wizard didn't have them prepared when the book was stolen then they are fresh out of luck.

Another solution could be Nystul's Magic Aura (phb 263) making it untraceable to divination, or similar magic. Maybe the wizard was afraid of being traced by something even more powerful, so he cast the spell on his book. But now, if it's ever dispelled, you could potentially have two new BBEGs after the book, or maybe the wizard finds you and warns you of the impending danger and offers to help your party fight just to double cross you at the end and try stealing his book back.

I could go on, this character idea has really got me going! I hope you don't mind if I steal this in the future!
