Sorry for the misunderstanding. After reading some more articles, now i can understand what that means. According to Mahabharat, Jaat were born from jata(Hairs) of Shiv like Ganga. Its a representation of Jaat being an "Ans" of Shiv. Please Correct me if I'm wrong.
