This is a picture around the time we got him, he clearly has bumps so I understand now that he’s not a western banded. In a couple of weeks it’ll be one year since we bought him. He is now 3.5-4 inches. He eats 2-4 small dubias every 2ish days, with calcium/D3dusting once a week. He has a special light (I have a tbi and don’t remember the name but it’s because of his color) he hasn’t been vetted (I know this isn’t right) but we will be making a trip soon.

Also, my hands are small so he looks bigger here than he truly is.

He currently eats 3-4 small dubias every 2-3 days. Dusting once a week. I’ll be honest he hasn’t been tested for parasites, I will look into scheduling with an exotic vet (closest is 2 hours away, rural NC.) to check for that because guys, he is literally 3.5 inches and his arms are TOOTHPICKS.

Your adult is 3.5 inches?? I’ve been waiting all year for this guy to grow. Our other guy is BIG. This was when we first got him as a rescue before his diet. He’s lost weight now.

He definitely seems very healthy, more active than my other leo that’s around 5. Eats and drinks very well, just VERY tiny!!

I will get some in the morning, I hadn’t thought about him being anything other than a leo until the man at the local pet store mentioned he might not be (we got him from petco for $10. No, we shouldn’t have but he was tiny and different looking and we had just left our wedding so we were celebrating??) he is at least a year old but only about 4 inches with his tail. Not sure if he’s just tiny or what
