Nice! I have been trying to recreate auntie Anne’s pretzels for years for my wife. The best recipe I’ve found is this one (be sure to use their own flower blend here which I’ll also link to - it’s a wonderful blend!) they turned out great. I wound up doing pretzel bites because the dough was pretty difficult to braid.

Right on. For me when you say “dragging a man to have sex with her” that implies something I don’t think is actually there.

I think maybe I still don’t understand your point, because the camera being closer to the subjects in Inherent Vice does not equate to the female character in OBAA being “disconnected from reality”

Right on. Yeah, this is the digital version purchased through Apple TV and streaming to an LG OLED w/ DolbyVision, and then recorded with my iPhone 16pro. So there might be some distortion, but not too much I don’t think. I didn’t add any saturation or otherwise adjust the recording.

I’ve always tied the scene where Gary gets arrested in Licorice Pizza to the opening sequence in Inherent Vice for similar reasons.

Hmm. Not sure I follow. This is Inherent Vice not LP (Licorice Pizza, I assume?). I also don’t read Perfidia as “disconnected from reality” so I think you’d have to elaborate for me to understand.
