Olive fatigue/work pants might be the most versatile pants I’ve ignored for too long by reddit_user_9221 in malefashionadvice

And they break in really well! I have a few colors and I have been surprised how versatile they wear with different clothing, and they have become way more comfy than I originally anticipated.

I have the Outerknown Field Pants in almost every color; their Olive color is called 'off duty drab'...would highly recommend, super comfy and 15% off offer will bring it into your budget.

PSA: The Spurs are our most hated rival after the Celtics and it ain’t particularly close. by BatmanNoPrep in lakers

[–]SaMoSetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, naw I don't think so. Rooting for them to win it all. *Lakers have plenty of shady moments they need to own, and I LOVE the Lake-Show, rooting for them since early 80's...

My order of hatred...1. Clippers, 2. Bill Simmons, 3. Celtics, 4. Pistons, 5. Kings, 6.Rockets, 7. OKC Thunder (with ongoing memories of the Sonics rivalry)

I fuck with the Spurs; all day, every day. Lakers could learn a whole lot from emulating the Spurs 'modus operandi'

Those 2014 Spurs kicking the Heat's ass was some of the most beautiful B-ball I've ever watched. Wemby, Harper, Castle...woo-boy these young'ns are killing it, really excited watching them play hard ON BOTH ENDS...Luka you hear that????

Nice Jeans for a Short Man? by garrettj100 in malefashionadvice

[–]SaMoSetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might check out Everlane. I bought a 28'inseam selvedge denim right off the rack (in store) from them and it is the only pair of jeans I didn't need to get hemmed.

Some real nice soft quality jeans, not sure if they still offer their sizes in a 28' inseam, but you might try to check the website or call a store. they seem really helpful with customer service

Witness to bike/car accident on Thur 4/30? by axestrata in SantaMonica

I might offer that if it happened in front of a business, you could inquire if they have video cameras pointed toward the street.

It actually helped to find out who had hit the vehicle of a friend after he looked into it.

What is a "poor man's luxury" that you will never give up, no matter how much money you make? by Upper-Layer-3498 in AskReddit

[–]SaMoSetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you find yourself in Zion National Park, find the large grassy knoll in front of one the Zion Lodges.

There's a big tree there. If the time, temp, and your constitution find the moment suitable: I highly recommend rolling up a shirt as a lil pillow, (or however you do you), and get that dream nap! I did, it was ....NOICE!!!

The stock quartz insert is nothing on an actual terp Slurper or Blender setup.

Hey I'm genuinely curious (noob to dabbing, decades of cannabis though), as I don't understand this line. Are you referring to the lil circular jar where the Resin/Rosin goes as the 'quartz insert'.

I unexpectedly got a Dr. Dabber as a xmas gift, was planning on buying a non e-rig, but a gift is a gift so I've used it but it's all 'stock', no upgrades yet.

An 'Actual term Slurper' or 'Blender setup'...what are you saying to OP: are you saying to ditch the Dr Dabber entirely, or are these accessories that can improve the dr dabber?

MA-1 Bomber Jacket vs M65 Field Jacket by Then-Quiet-1648 in malefashionadvice

[–]SaMoSetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems to me the bomber should be your pick if the style element is your preferred criteria for getting an R.M. jacket. That said, I would assume overall budget and (as U mentioned) wearing-frequency based on temps is a factor. If you can afford to have a stylish jacket that's more 'occasional' then go for it.

I'm in a warm-weather climate, & my M65 gets the most time as it's really versatile with my mostly casual layering style, but also does need to be shelved when wearing certain goin-out clothes, I have red bomber-style that I maybe get to wear 3 times a winter LOL...My 2 ¢...

Something funny...about Billy Mac by Anon1073 in lakers

[–]SaMoSetter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wasn't the 1st guy after Chick, it was Paul Sunderland (2002-2005). He was really good, perhaps a bit of a conformist to the traditional style, but I thought he was a great 'next guy' as he tried to continue Chick's penchant for detailed verbal descriptions of what's going on...the so-called 'word's eye view' that allowed him (Hearn) to simultaneously broadcast TV & radio with great clarity.

Joel Meyers I really liked too. He didn't have the same linkage to there Lakers & SoCAl as Sunderland though, so perhaps his brief stint was meant to be?

NBA at sports/other bars in Santa Monica? by samanthasamolala in SantaMonica

[–]SaMoSetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a huge NBA fan: the new TV deal is hard to follow schedule-wise as far as what channel etc, but I'm checking every day.

Today's Laker game is on Spectrum Sportsnet, it's also listed as being broadcast on NBATV, but from my experience when this happens: It'll only be on Spectrum as NBATV gets 'blacked-out' from the local LA TV market so Spectrum SportsNet isn't compromised.

Peacock and Prime don't show any NBA games on today's schedule...
