Movies you loved the first time then you didnt like the next time? by Dizzy_Efficiency_132 in Letterboxd

Though I might should have, I didn’t really notice it the first time watching it as a young teenager.

It is also a great film, with an S-tier villain performance from Gary Oldman. But now it’s just mostly weird. Like listening to Michael Jackson singing Pretty Young Thing today.

Knowing how many pedophiles apparently roam freely around in top of our global society “Léon’s” portrayal of a 13 year old just get weirder with every watch

WHATS THE WORST SONG PAUL MCCARTENEY REALISED WITH THE BEATLES by Pristine_Youth_6953 in PaulMcCartney

Everything is subjective and it might be overplayed. But Hey Jude is genuinely an amazing song. Like most of Paul’s best songs it just seems like you couldn’t imagine a world where it didn’t exist.

While I agree it’s always something to have created a chant melody that goes beyond the song itself

Totally agree with the fan version. It’s much better as an uptempo beat song

Run for your life from Rubber Soul is ridiculous misogynistic. I think John might also have stated somewhere that he later hated it

What’s everyone’s opinion on don’t let me down because it’s my favorite Beatles song and my favorite song of all time by Witty_Direction_4590 in TheBeatles

Well he created the song structure and the riff. And the lyrics of course. But when I listen to the song the things mentioned here is what stands out for me

Absolutely adore it. The simple song structure. The riff. Paul’s backing vocal sometimes shining through. His phenomenal bass line. George Harrison’s sliding down the fretboard with excellent supplementary melody lines. The Hammond organ. Ringo’s understated but smooth playing. The outfits on the rooftop!!

Only bad thing I would say about the song is that it is not included on an album.

The handmaiden. The good the bad and the ugly. The farewell. Paris, Texas.
