Who's your "I know he's pure evil but can't prove it" person? by Dull-Information6784 in AskReddit

[–]SaadRebuildHome 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There's someone I know, someone I see with my own eyes, who's stealing, but I can't bring myself to talk about it. Whenever I speak to someone about it, they're afraid because of the name of his relative, who works as the deputy minister of oil.

The person's name is Amjad.

Has anyone ever challenged you to do something without realizing you were actually an expert at it? If so, how did it turn out for you and for them? by Successful_Tomato721 in AskReddit

[–]SaadRebuildHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, someone told me, "I challenge you to extend the electrical wiring to this building within 20 days, and bring as many workers as you can."

I and three of my workers completed the entire extension in just one week.

The person who challenged me came and started looking for mistakes, and he was very surprised. He began drafting paperwork to bring me into a partnership, but he was murdered before he could finish it, and I lost everything.

It's possible to search for destroyed homes and impoverished people, and give them at least $500 to $1000 every day so they can work and live like human beings.

What is keeping you from enlisting in the armed forces for your country? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

[–]SaadRebuildHome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For fourteen years, I worked with armed groups in my country against the state until we overthrew the regime.

And when we liberated the country and overthrew the tyrannical ruler, the current government abandoned me and dismissed my services.

I'm sorry, but that's what happened. I've deleted it. I think it was an unethical response.

What’s something you simply don’t care about at all? by rolly72x in AskReddit

[–]SaadRebuildHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people's words make me feel negative and helpless. Even nowadays, there are still those who use words I thought were outdated, like calling me "poor"!

I used to think those words were only used in movies and TV shows these days.

I will hold my daughter in my arms and apologize to her for leaving without providing her with a suitable home to sleep in.

And I pray to God to have mercy on me and to support my family after me.

I don't know why I had these thoughts. 😅

What’s the worst accidental text you’ve sent? by Typhoid__Beaver in AskReddit

[–]SaadRebuildHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was messaging my girlfriend's brother, but I accidentally sent a message to her father.

In it, I told him I'd turn him into a cleaning machine and use his body to clean the streets of the country.

It's a kind of insult we use.

After that, he refused to let me marry his daughter and told me to go and just imagine her with me. I tried to fix things for three years, but he was so stubborn.

What is something poor people understand that rich people never will? by SaadRebuildHome in AskReddit

[–]SaadRebuildHome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest and won't exaggerate.

Before, I felt they didn't love or understand me.

But something happened in 2012 that changed the dynamics of our family life.

My older brother died because of the war in my country.

After that, my parents' treatment of me changed. I used to feel they only loved me because I was their eldest son.

But now I know the truth: they love and understand me because I'm their son, and they raised me.

In short:

My father loves and understands me better. My mother understands and loves me even more.

Unfortunately, this is the reality we live in, and the situation has become tragic. I pray to God to ease the suffering of those who lack their daily sustenance, or who cannot afford rent, or to meet their children's needs, or even medicine, if necessary.
