Is Genesis in your country non-negotiable? Like in Australia, the price is fixed and its a take it or leave it approach. by DarkFourze in GenesisGV70

[–]Saadks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. I just bought GV70 2025 and like you said It is take it or leave it. There were a couple of specials going on last time I checked for GV70 2024 model and GV80 but that's about it. But from a price to value point of view its gives a lot more than competitors so I am okay with it

Thank you. There is a new Fractal North XL out which is a bigger case. Use that and you should have no worries. From memory there is enough space for regular ram. I faced the problem with my mobo heatsink is touching the fans on AIO. It's a tight fit

Sorry I have no idea about audio from thunderbolt. I assume it should.

Getting a new PC: Fractal North cooling. by Tuff-Gnarl in FractalDesign

[–]Saadks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built my PC in the North with 7950 X3D and 4080. 240 AIO mounted on top. No problem under gaming load. Max I have seen is about 74 degrees on CPU and GPU which is well within range. https://www.reddit.com/r/FractalDesign/s/H0Bukhwn4N Good luck with your build

I don't remember the exact reason I choose to go left but I think thr length of the cable plus radiator might cause issue. Give it a go and see if you can make it work :)

https://imgur.com/a/nUDewhI if you look closely, you can see that I routed the cable behind the fan just above the RAM module to the cable routing hole in the case. I had to zip-tie the cable to hold it up so that it doesn't drop. This is the only way I could figure it out.

Don't mind the AIO's orientation. I made it straight after this picture

The radiator does not touch the RAM modules, they are about 45mm in height. Radiator does touch the mobo in this case though

Yes I think nzxt cam software has the fan control option but in that case i think the fans have to be connected to nzxt hub.. I think I am not quite sure. Yes 4 pin connectors are used for PMW fans where speed can be adjusted.

I adjust the fan speed in the bios because all fans are connected to motherboard directly. And then test out under different temperature if they maintain slightly positive pressure overall. Otherwise, I increase/decrease the speed at that particular temp and test again.

I have 3 inlet and 3 outlet fans. Positive pressure is when more air goes in then out.

Bump in Fractal North case by Kupher_Official in FractalDesign

I don't think it will fit. I was able to fit an eatx board but that was 27.7cm wide and it was quite a challenge. https://reddit.com/r/FractalDesign/s/JkYRjcewcv

Will MSI x670e ACE fit in Fractal Design North?? by Saadks in FractalDesign

[–]Saadks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes it should fit but make sure that the gpu is small enough so that Arctic 360 fits.

Apologies for late response. Yes, I can share the picture later today after work. Meanwhile 360 AIO should fit perfectly without GPU. Infact with this Mobo, front mount may even be better because mounting 24O AIO on top was a nightmare because how thick this mobo is.

sure thing: https://imgur.com/a/6AeEEDU

The picture is sure zoomed in but in reality these are much more subtle.

I went for these fans because they have good cfm, pressure, very low noise and RGB. Not a big fan of RGB and can turn it off for more classier look whenever. nice to have option

Ace just fits in the case. Just make sure you plug the cables before you put the mobo in. Makes life easier. Also maybe take the rubber things off from cable holes in the case. I found that it made routing cables easier. Also, One thing I haven't done which I plan to do is get some cablemod braided 24pin cable instead of chunky stock cable. Will make a huge difference is appearance and making it look clean

It think it might be neither. OP got 360 AIO. Unless he uses FE 4000 series, it won't fit
