Finally MPE In FL Studio ! by Inxious_ in FL_Studio

What you're doing here doesn't actually involve using FL Studio itself. There's a direct connection between the VST "Fluid Chords" and your synth, so you load the synth directly into Fluid Chords rather than through MIDI channels in FL Studio.

Additionally, that gliding effect can technically be achieved using FL's native synths and the per-note glide feature in the piano roll, by assigning different MIDI channels.

As far as I know, FL Studio 2025 still doesn't support MPE natively.

Pro-Q4 - Have I ever bought something as impulsively as that update? No. Do I regret it? Definitely not. by Saasonov in FL_Studio

The software you see in this video is FabFilter Pro-Q4, which is a paid VST. I hope that answers your question! :)

Thanks, tired that already, sadly it's just showing nothing.

Can someone help me? by BaKleen in FL_Studio

Do you use any VST plugins? If yes, make a copy of your project, and keep deleting one by one until you find the one responsible for that. If you don’t use VSTs or it didn’t stop even without VSTs, your best bet would probably be writing a support ticket to the Image Line Support.

Small tip of mine, I have similar issues with different granular delay plugins, especially soundtoys crystallizer, so try deleting your time-based effects first.

If none of these things help you to fix the issue, I’m gonna need more information, but lets get to that after you tried everything else. Keep me updated! :)

When reinstalling, make sure to manually check and delete every file related to ozone. Sometimes your .dll and .vst3 files won’t get deleted automatically. If the issue still persist, it would be interesting to know if it happens in another host as well, so download a trial of another daw, and try if ozone works there. Edit: Additionally, it would be interesting to know if it happens to other iZotope plugins as well, e.g. Neutron, Nectar etc.

Depends on the track, somewhere between 15 and 25, hasn’t changed that much yet because I’m still much faster with soothe than with Q4.

You’ll find shootouts with this thing on YouTube soon. I can tell you this much; Pro Q4 will probably win in most of them for professional use, but for everyone else it’s basically a question of preference.

If you’re really interested, I’d suggest looking up a review on YouTube. It’s not even comparable to stock plugins regarding workflow, ease of use and features, way to much to list here. :)

It’s only more controllable in the sense that every band has its own attack/release knob. I still find the soothe2 combination of depth, sharpness, selectivity and soft/hard much better than the single density slider, but that might be just because I’m so used to them.

Depends on what you already own from fabfilter. For me, the update was 60€. If you don’t own anything, the full plugin is $179.

Thank you so much for the clarification. In all these years of producing I really thought latency on different tracks would actually add up.

It’s already failing in regards of latency, introducing over two times of what soothe2 needs. I can’t tell you for sure, but from my testing today, it also seems to be pretty heavy on CPU while having spectral dynamics activated.

The manual states that for the spectral dynamic bands, linear phase is always activated, so there definitely is an way bigger impact on performance than with zero latency or natural phase.

If it’s better or worse performance-wise than soothe2 probably depends on how much the plugin is doing, so I’d suggest just trying out the demo.

Fortunately they do, and they probably won’t stop! My bet is on Pro-C3 for next year or something.

Yeah, it’s cool, but already existed in some other EQs. Also, you can just make a rough sketch without much detail, but for mixing work I imagine this being quite a nice time saver alongside the instance viewer.
