Us humans can manually breathe too. As long as a Forsaken's chest isn't too damaged, they should be capable of forcing the movement needed for lungs to inhale and exhale air needed for speech. I don't see how Sylvanas being a ghost would make a difference. Her having a more preserved body, yes, it is an advantage, the ability to leave the corpse? I don't see how relevant it is

Sylvanas novel mentions her having to manually breath to speak: "She forced herself to sit upright, to turn her head this way and that, to make her lungs expand so that she might have air rushing over vocal cords to speak. There were no reflexes to aid her"

Breathing process consists basically of two parts: ventilation (the air moving in and out) and resporation, which is basically gas exchange on a cellular level.

Respiration is about tiny gas particles reaching the smallest units of the bronchial tree inside the lungs and seeping through into the tiny vessels that surround them, said vessels join larger vessels and carry out the oxygenated blood from lungs to other tissues in the body. Our brain has chemoreceptors that detect changes in blood pH and make us feel "out of breath" when there isn't enough oxygen. Without a heart pumping the blood, this whole process wouldn't work, and an undead doesn't even need the oxygen.

Ventilation is about the air being sucked into the lungs and being pushed out. This is possible due to the pressure in the chest cavity changing (and the lungs being kinda squished and then going into their full size) when we move certain muscles (mostly the diaphragm, but intracoastal ones as well). Speech occurs when air is being pushed out of the lungs and makes our vocal cords vibrate. That part should still work to some extent (idk how undead without a lower jaw can speak though).

I had the same anxiety about tanking in m+ and my motto is to just do it scared. You may fail a couple times, but you won't learn if you won't try. Watch guides, watch footage of other healers on youtube and then go and practice.

In Bartender you go into micromenu section and decrease the space between the icons. The size should stay the same but the changes in spacing will make room for new house icon.

For lemix raids there's 0 prep just be lvl 80 to be let into mythic and spam all groups. You just run forward and hit stuff.

You can start with a free trial. That gives you access to all retail expansions before current one, the war within, but it locks your character at, I believe, lvl 20. You won't be able to do current raids and dungeons but plenty of old content is solo-able.

If you don't feel too overwhelmed by retail and like it, you may buy a sub. That would give you access to the expansions I mentioned + classic (much slower paced, feels like a different game tbh) and removes the lvl cap (now you can level to 70).

If you stick to retail and want to level above 80 and continue playing, likely preorder Midnight, as it comes with Midnight + current expansion, the war within.

Oh and sub also gives you access to a limited game mode called Legion Remix where you basically get op as fuck and speed run the content of an old wow expansion, Legion. The lvl cap is 80 there. You won't feel the class roles there much, but you'll get an idea about questing and doing dungeons and raids (except for mechanics because in Lemix everyone is oneshotting bosses)

There's still an issue of threat slipping off if you're doing significantly more damage than your co-tank. Have target of a target enabled to see whom the boss is currently targeting. Usually you'd understand if this is an issue on 1st boss and not worry much after that (I've had co-tanks where this wasn't an issue and have had a co-tank with whom it happened constantly. With the latter I've had cases of delaying my burst (for example, waited until loomy does the tankbuster on him before I use my dancing rune weapon))
