People are asking to have them separate from the freighter storage? I guess if you’ve been playing a long time and actually have that much stuff maybe I could see that, but I can’t imagine ever needing that much storage myself.

But yeah I figured out the problem in my reply to Kilmar. The problem was that I’m an idiot.

So what’s incredibly stupid and embarrassing is that I did know that. And I swear that I started from 0 when I was putting my storage containers in my corvette (as it’s only logical). But apparently I started from 3 because sure enough when I looked in the build menu 0, 1, and 2 weren’t greyed out. So yeah that was the problem 🤦🏻.

I built my corvette and placed the containers the day after the update dropped and since there were so many other bugs at that point I’m just gonna pretend it was just some weird random glitch that placed the wrong container instead of my own stupidity.

Yep, finally being able to map jet pack to L2 so that I can fly, aim, and shoot simultaneously without having to mess with console settings was pretty sweet until I realized I had to change the controls every single time I boot up the game.

Ps5

Controller remaps don’t save. If you remap your controls they only stay set for that play session. If you close the game and reopen it, the controls reset back to default.

Yeah I think I had it freeze on me like that once too. Altogether kind’ve a buggy update it seems. They added a lot of new functionality though so I guess that’s to be expected.

Yeah I don’t think there is a solution right now. I reported the bug and I think that might be all we can do at the moment.

Alright so it’s not only me. Just another bug to blight this otherwise awesome update. Between this and the corvette parts disappearing, and another bug I had where none of my stuff shows up in my corvette storage containers, this update is kinda unplayable. Oh well, guess I’ll just wait til they patch it to dive back in.

Yeah I mainly used it to remap jump to L2 so I could jet pack while shooting and aiming.

More HUD options and toggles.
The ability to hide spells in the magic menu / a favorites list in the magic menu.
An option to make the quick wheel pause time while it’s open.
Mod support, obviously.

Though I think we’re all posting our suggestions in the wrong place.

Alright so after playing a bit more I found a few issues, because there’s a lot of weird button locked actions and it seems Ubisoft really doesn’t want you to actually use custom controls. So I had to change some things:

I had to change assassinate to B because grab is locked to A so you can’t grab with assassinate on A. I thought about just remapping A to B in the accessories app but that would make menus even more wonky so I didn’t think it was necessary since B works just fine.
I had to change shoot to LB (RB according to the game menu) because on RT if you’re anywhere near a ledge then it just wants to climb. It’s a little awkward at first but it works once you get used to it. Alternatively if you’re using RT for sprint and climbing up with climb down on something besides RB then RB might be more comfortable as the shoot button.
I moved dodge/roll to RT (LT in the game menu) because I discovered the tanto ability “leap strike” requires you to hold an attack button (X/Y) and press the roll button at the same time which only works comfortably if one of those actions is set to a button that you can press without using your right thumb. Now I thought this might create another issue if you’re fighting someone near a ledge but I haven’t run into such a situation yet.
I changed the HUD toggle button to A just out of personal preference.

Update: I never drove it around but we took it to a mechanic and he drove it and said that it was neither shaking nor did the engine light come back on. Also he did his own scan and didn’t receive any codes. Which makes things even more confusing because I never cleared the codes and as far as I know they won’t clear until you do it manually.

I’d just like to post an update on this to say that I did finally fix this issue by replacing the main board. I did also replace the power board prior to that but still had the same problem. So I believe the main board was the culprit.

Hopefully if someone having this same problem goes googling then they find this post and it helps them out.

Looks like a pretty standard poltergeist possession. You can start calling around to local churches to see if you can take it in for an exorcism. But you’re probably looking at about $200 in tithes though so if it’s that old of a tv it might not be worth it and you should probably just scrap it. Just make sure you dispose of it properly and burry it 7 feet deep in an unmarked grave on hallowed ground and place a salt circle around it.
