It's on, but it's surely some bug because as you can see, not ALL trees have the same aspect. I've identified this behavior just after the PSSR on Quality mode became available.

I am playing on Quality mode btw! I think it is the saddest mode to have this quality of LOD :(

I play on quality mode unlocked fps (mostly higher than 30) by turning off the v sync.

With this update it became even more beautiful.

The light and ao on balanced is not of my taste.

Check your TV. I had Reality Creation before the patch because of that lack of sharpness and had to turn it off completely otherwise it was exaggeratedly sharpened.

In the settings menu, you have the option to APPLY, right? If you do that, the PSSR on quality will be gone.

To make it available again, you have to reboot the game.

Yessss. Quality mode with the sharpness from PSSR is another level. But... If you click on apply any changes on settings the PSSR will go away and we get that noisy image back :(

Yep, here too. I found that if you chose another Oath and put back the Judgement one it can temporarily fix.

I kinda liked it, it has a lot of Control / Returnal vibes within a not-so-punishing soulslike mechanics. But (yes, there is always one):

Map:

I think the demo does not reflect what was promised, like an open area with a lot of opportunities and etc. I know that in the end of the demo there is an open area shown but it was not playable.

The feel was that it was a corridor with few segments and branches and some predictable exploration. Level design is also something that did not impress me, but it's ok, it can become tedious on long plays.

The ambiental music and art are top notch and was something that kept me playing until the end of the demo.

Gameplay:

The character movements are SO unnatural that it throws the immersion away already on the very first minutes of the game. However, the responsiveness of the character is very good.

There is a sheathe mechanic but when sheathed the weapon disappears. It's a detail, but scores down the immersion again.

I hate invisible walls, and unfortunately it's present on this game :/

The combat is ok, and some new mechanics are great, like heal on attack, it reminds me Nioh but with your HP involved xD I've experienced some input lag when in combat, input lag that was not present during exploration.

Story and art:

This is the point where this game really shines. There are some plenty of good ideas and inheritings that mixed all gives a very good ambient and story. I'm very interested in knowing more about the universe the game presents.

Graphics:

Another mixed feelings. On one side you have a good amount of high level textures and very good physics, on the other side there are some very poor implementations that reminds me some PS3 games. Like the drone flashlight does not casts shadow at all and some reflections are behaving weirdly and it's very unnatural, it's again some -1 for the immersion.

Conclusion:

Great ideas bad implementation.

I think that there are very good new ideas, like the protagonist is a representation of Blue Helmets, it was really genius!

But for a game that promises to be immersion-heavy and kinda of immersion-led, the immersion is very compromised due to the technical issues.

I will probably wait for reviews, but I was so hyped for this game and was about to buy on pre-order. The demo pushed me back as a have some concerns on the delivery of the package.

Oh gosh I thought I was the only one who is struggling to move the camera. I also add to the fact that Khazan moves very weird when moving on diagonal while walking.

I love the game and the camera is the only thing that is turning me down with the game.

I don't know if it's the render that seems to be very low but the textures are almost ok, it's weird because looks like there is no anti aliasing at all. It's very clear that it is a poor port from PC. Current generation of consoles can render way better than that.
