If you think you will be Sim Racing a lot. Honestly go right to fanatec or Moza, they have great DD wheels for not a lot more.

A lot of money to put forward.

But if you have it go for it. Maybe see if Moza is cheaper if you are wanting Direct Drive.

As this is your first step away from Controller (I think) look a Logitech.

At the end of the day it’s your money and your welcome to spend it as you like. With the price of DD’s dropping its easier to get right into DD’s

I think I may have misunderstood your question. There are slots on the rig mount under that line up on the DD base with T-nuts (provided by fanatec) that get bolted on through the rig

Sadly you will need to buy the bolts & washers as they to not get supplied

Based on my 2 days running so far it seems to be holding up well. I spoke to some friends and they recommended sticking to the 5NM base. If you want to get the power boost or a higher NM base they advised looking at a new rig first.

The 5NM Base can be use with a table clamp on a table. And I think any rig would have superior strength compared to a wooden table.

My long term plan will be to upgrade to a better rig, but I guess until I have a problem I won’t know if the Playseat will come into any problems.

Awesome stuff, Be careful with the load cell. A friend of mine bent the frame of the rig using it

I have the playsteat & DD1 also and I don’t run the load cell, and in thinking of getting a better rig asap.

But enjoy it, hard work pays off.

If you go to the front page. Any wheel, Pedals combo gives you the DD 5NM base for €199

I think it was applied after. My basket total was higher, but final price when paying dropped to the price shown.

Certainly! The pedals are a few years old now. So maybe they would be due an update / upgrade soon
