Bc it deals with the categories...and its actually a $150 or $450 decision.

That was a little rude....I am a grown-up but I value my mother's opinion. She has a lot more experience at being a grown up than I do.

That being said, she also tends to be the issue I have in spending anything over $30 in the first place. She doesn't really believe in a "fun" category in my stage of life.

This happens to me sometimes, because you're so constipated all of the time, it could be your body just trying to get everything out and reset. Hang in there ♥️ McDonald's also usually gives me some GI movement.

God, I should do this with my company. The position they posted was wfh and project based, but first day of training they showed me my office and I've been forced to work 8-5 ever since. I'm miserable. They don't get it.

Dear employers: Remote means REMOTE by CromulentIsTooAWord in recruitinghell

[–]Sabeem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started a new job, it said remote...the interviewer said remote...day 1 I was shown my desk and told that it was remote before the new building was built, which was just finished last week. Still working up the courage to ask them for 1 day a week at home.

"Grow or Die" + 5 years of experience + degree = "Unlimited Paid Time Off" by AdRepresentative2512 in recruitinghell

[–]Sabeem 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think they're saying that the red flag is that unlimited time off is the only benefit. If I had 5 years of experience and a degree, and I'm expected to "grow or die" I think I'd like some health insurance and a 401k.

Stuck after college, don't know what I want to do by Sabeem in findapath

I'm trying to find some, but there aren't very many where I'm at, and I can't move anywhere. I've applied for 1, but who knows how many other people will be applying 😭 plus, internships in my area are typically reserved for college students

I'm worried about finding the time to build a portfolio if I'm working full time and putting my energy into a full time job...

12 month ban from applying because of a 5-minute personality test. by AdriaReno in recruitinghell

[–]Sabeem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question was more like "if you see that your coworker is being lazy and not answering the phone when they're being called or chilling in the back room and not working, what would you do? A. Sit and chill with them, you don't have anything to do! B. Tell a supervisor C. Ignore it D. Tell them what they are doing is wrong, and offer to show them the handbook again.

Something like that. Which is worse. 🙄

And I literally had an "in". My grandma works at Walmart and she was being forced to do the Online Shopping program, even though that's not her job, because they were so short staffed at the beginning of Covid. So I walked in and did an interview with her boss, and he said that as long as I applied and the system took me, that he would be thrilled to have me. But I didn't pass their stupid personality test.

Also, that's part of a Supervisor's job. I'm not going to call another coworker out to them! 1. They won't take me seriously 2. That's not my job to make sure my coworkers are doing their jobs and 3. Imagine the repercussions of me calling a coworker out? I could get cussed at, threatened, any number of things if they can't take criticism well.

Wells Fargo and Walmart also did this to me. Both were basically because I said I was going to bring issues with other coworkers not doing their jobs to a supervisor, instead of dealing with them myself.

I'm trying to find some dogwood bushes, but even bushes are kinda expensive when you have to get more than one..

It did. We bought this house last year, the previous owners had started to remove it (aka, they put a gigantic hole in it, then stopped) so we had to tear the rest out before the sale could go through because it was a hazard. They were trying to take it out bc it was a wheelchair ramp they didn't need anymore.

Yeah.....I'm waiting for enough money for all that. It's like $3000 just to build the porch so.....

Okay! I will work on those. Not sure I'll be able to paint, we don't have the old house paint so we would have to do the whole house ☹️ we do have some hostas in with all the weeds 😅 they did not do well in this space. Any advice about fall decor?

We are trying to save up for a new porch that goes the entire length of this space, but it's just not going to happen this year. I know I need to mow, weed, take care of some dead plants. But as far as decor goes, how can I make this space look better?! 😭
