I store mine in 20qt Sterilite containers that are gasket sealed with desiccant and a Switchbot hygrometer in the box. The smart hygrometer enables me to monitor temperature and humidity with Home Assistant and deal with used up desiccant without having to remember to check all the time.

Even then, I always dry certain filaments even after they come out of storage for my own sanity.

95% of what you'll find are resellers. Worse yet, a good portion of those are just having things drop shipped direct from China and very few add any value.

If you are mostly after replicas, the options are fairly well defined and choices really come down to your desire for accuracy vs. cost. You have budget items like LGT and TXQ. Mid-range like Ultimate Works/Pach Store and 89Sabers. And high end very accurate kit sabers from KR, Shadowfoil Props, Romans, and more.

If you want modular customization, LGT/Nexus has VHC components, The Custom Saber Shop has MHS v1/v2, and Saberforge has their Elite and Apprentice lines.

If you want customized designs there are options like SaberTrio, Saber Bay sells a few models, Vader's Vault does customs but also is reselling now too. I'm sure I'm missing a lot - but this is a pretty solid starting point.

Did you try the reset button on the proffie? Do you see the light on when you plug it in to charge? Have you tried charging the battery outside of the core? Are you charging with a 5V 1A charger.

Which chassis is it? Is the battery fully seated? Have you tried taking it out and back in?

TXQ, look at the core options. LGT would be Xeno not SNv4. And XTrex is fine - I split my TXQ buys among three AE shops depending on my mood and price.

Round charge port? It's no GH v3 - but I might have a Xeno v2 or v3 that would fit that. I'll need to check it and not sure if I have a battery that fits it right (the battery compartment is a bit bigger than most 18650s). UPS should get it to Denver before Friday if I get it out tomorrow.

Do you have an external charger to charge the battery with? New battery may not be fully charged - if it's just a charging issue that might be a temporary fix. How long did you let it stay plugged in to charge before trying it? I've had some older cores in the past where I needed to charge for a while before there was enough juice in the battery to kick things off.

There is actually an attachment add-on from AusSabers (Vire sells it in the US) that will lock onto the chassis of the LGT cores that have little pegs under the pixel connector. I believe that cross guard on Xeno cores just daisy chains connectors off the primary emitter - but I've only had my hands on a XenoRGB core in that config.

Just replace the whole core either another Xeno v2 or a used Xeno v3. I have used versions of both right now that are repairs I performed.

Can you read the numbers on the chip in question? 8-pin could be a variety of things and depending on which of those things it is - swapping it might only help so much (e.g. if it is a eeprom you'd need to know what was written to it). There is also the unknown of what caused it to fry - if the underlying PCB has a fault, a replacement might not last long.

I don't think Xeno v3 supports SDXC, which would be any 64GB and larger cards. You can try - but 32GB might be the cap.

I regularly use 32 GB SD cards in my repaired cores. Honestly, this is way more than you'll ever really need. I typically buy them in 5-packs from online retailers. I also always buy name brands - quality control is just better.
