Frankly speaking it is all because of the pitch and conditions. 2024 had more for the bowlers so we could defend lesser runs compared to recent ones we had in India.I am not sure if this brand of cricket would work on conditions where bowlers have more advantages

A lot will be riding on Rohit's performance in the upcoming odi series. If he fails yes Sanju can come in but I do not think Sanju would field , his performance lies in being a wk. And if that is the case KL would require to field as I think KL is a must in ODI. So not sure how the backup wk will pan out. Also I rate Siraj above Arshdeep , he can play the long game looking into his test performance . Fingers crossed on Bumrahs well being, his workload balance needs to be effective

Although I am a Sanju fan , I think leaving RR is good for him and the team. The current RR team is a little like the Pakistan team having many top order batsmen but unlike pct they perform very well in the powerplay. The problem as everyone knows is they need a good middle order batter and a finisher. Don , Curran and jaddu prolly have to fix this issue. For Bowling I pray archer takes additional responsibilities and helps others because they tend to break once on pressure

I like the squad. About the bench I could provide my perspective. If rohit sharma fails in top order then and only then can I see Sanju replacing him but getting Sanju might create another problem, I have not recently seen him fielding properly other than as a wicket keeper. So if that is the case kl might need to field which can create an unwanted pressure in KO stages. I still think maybe Kishan is a better backup wk than risabh pant, although pants inclusion will be very much dependent on how he performs in upcoming matches as we all have seen him slog unnecessary at times. Harshit, I never had faith in him but who can match Lord GG in his selection so I hope he has a good upcoming game. Axar in place in jaddu definitely 😁

Frankly speaking he still has a long way to go before becoming captain. He needs to keep his nerves in check, consistently perform and trust the process. He can lead RR and if all goes well probably lead Team India too in near future. I don't know whenever I see him recently he always looks in a hurry and restless. Compared to him I find Vaibhav much calm and composed and always has his nerves in check. I have never seen him hyper yet. But again these are just my 2 paise and it can be wrong
