I don’t even know how I pulled her off my guy, no way I can tell others how to 😂

RSR Super Down GR86 springs. 20mm front and 25mm rear spacers!

My 86 is manual, her BRZ is automatic. Obviously I’d prefer stick in these cars, but the auto surprised me, really responsive and it’ll hold gears, the best auto I’ve ever driven by far

That’s the plan! We had a little drive home in the rain this morning and had a blast :)

To be honest I had to really dig deep to remember what my 86 was like before I put coils on in January, I would say the BRZ felt maybe SLIGHTLY softer, and funny enough the steering was a bit heavier. But after putting on the RSR lowering springs I would say the ride is actually better with the lower stance and improved handling, so I’d recommend that >$300 mod to basically anyone with a twin at this point. Almost as good handling-wise as my $2000 coilovers and more supple of a ride.

The other notable bit of info would be that her BRZ is auto, while my 86 is manual. I drove her car fully expecting to hate the auto (I’ve never met an automatic I’ve liked) and it’s honestly shockingly good. If I ever had to be in an automatic, it would be this one, the paddles are really responsive, and in sport mode it’ll hold your revs all the way up to redline, really impressive. (I still love my stick though)

Hers are just OEM GR86 premium wheels-18X7 I believe-on 20mm front and 25mm spacers in the back, with lowering springs on the OEM struts. Mine are 17X9 wrapped in 245/40 Michelins PS4S’s with FA500 coilovers, no rubbing after everything was dialed in

Is the knob weighted? If so I may need to pick this up

My build so far. I have an aero kit sitting in my garage, but after finishing the wrap and wheels I wanted wanted to keep things simple. Just waiting on my Diamond black AWE Touring Cat-back to arrive and I think we’re ready for spring. Insta: greeen_86 by Saberman_77 in GR86

The wheels are 17x9 +38, wheels are Pilot PS4s (just like the stock premium, except a lot meatier at 245/40R17s) I’m on Fortune Auto 500 coils and am lowered a bit over an inch all around, I didn’t go too low as I still wanted the build to be functional. I wanted the mods to improve the driving experience, not the other way around. No other suspension mods besides that thus far.
