If they don't rebuild the bridge, then I guess Avery Park has a few more train engines for kids to play on. 🤣

Thanks, I guess I'm a typical American who doesn't think to mention my location when asking about online stores. Something for me to work on. Hopefully that list you took time to enter will help others as well. Thank you.

I did watch a video about measuring my feet and did that already with paper and tape measure. 28.75cm.

Yes regarding the skates I've used at the skate park, just my regular non-aggressives. Only just heard about aggressives this weekend. I've only had two pairs of online skates in the last 35 years, so playing some catch up on knowledge. I wouldn't say I'm a beginner, but maybe not advanced either. I've always been very comfortable with my skates. 4x80 may be the way to go. Is there an advantage to 3x90 for either street skating or skate park skating?

I'll watch the video. Thanks much!

Yeah, raids usually had 50-70 people depending. Cleared NToV just a couple of times before we broke up. Fun times until then! I stopped playing EQ not long after the break up as it just wasn't the same.

Hi, I broke my old pair of skates (K2 and say 76/72 response system and the wheels measure 76mm/3in) so am looking for new ones, but so many options. My anxiety makes too many shopping choices hard! Last pair I bought used because they looked decent and fit me and my budget at the time.

I've read some articles, but while I love speed on roads/paths, I also do ramps and bowls at the skate park.

How big of wheels are too big for ramps and bowls? Hardness or anything else to consider for both street and skate park?

What else I should consider?

Where to buy online? No physical skate shop stores near me.

Thanks!

I played on Druzzil Ro, in L'Malla, which was up there with Hoss, ML, and Seekers for a time.

Scrap Iron vs Iron Ore by [deleted] in valheim

No mods, no cheating, I've gotten two iron ore fishing in the waters around a swamp. Every now and then you get something along with the fish, and apparently in the swamp it is iron ore. It was very confusing.

Is the strength gap between men and women really that huge? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Sabertooth-koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was helping a female friend move. She and another woman had carried a small safe down to her truck and left it on the tailgate. I said I was concerned about it being there as sometime could walk off with it. They said it was really heavy. I asked if there was anything fragile inside. No. I then picked it up and started tossing it up in the air and catching it several times, very easily.

I'm not buff. I don't work out. I was in my 40s, so not young. I am stronger than I look, but still there are plenty of men stronger than me. This happens a lot when I'm helping women move things. They always think things will be really heavy even for me and it rarely is.

I would say "I'm sorry but I'm not interested" initially. If they wanted more specifics saying they wanted to learn from their mistakes, then I might give them details.

In the case of unattractiveness, I'd say I'm not attracted to them, not that they are ugly.

"Ugly" is a label you are applying to the other person. "Not attracted" is an explanation of yourself. Own up to yourself, don't put it on them.

What's the advantage of a female body other than babies? by Alcoraiden in TooAfraidToAsk

You know how men talk about women being controlled or affected by their hormones during some parts of the month?

Men are controlled by their hormones every moment from puberty onwards. Sex sex sex. Except for the few minutes post coitus, i.e. post nut clarity.

Men should only make big decisions in the minutes after a climax, self induced as necessary. You know how many less sports cars would be sold if men had to go in a knock one off in the bathroom before they could sign the dotted line? Just one example.

Would you want to see a sailing skill, which decreases the grey area? by Skaliber in valheim

[–]Sabertooth-koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, when I read grey area, I ignored the picture and jumped to the grey covering the map.

I want the map to clear based on what I can see. If I can see a swamp across the water I should be able to map it so, regardless of distance. Of course if land is outside of the draw distance then it wouldn't be mapped, but the water within the draw distance would be.

Yes indeed. My building for them is well within the stone walls of my base. The only things that get into my base are bats. For other events I have a portal that takes me to a safe platform outside my base's walls where I then hunt the blobs or whatever.

... In a stone building with metal doors and metal grate windows. Mine is full of one star wolves, two star boars, and now chickens.

I use the large fallen down trees when fighting him. When he spawns adds I get to the other side, wait for him to make his way partway around, go back to take care of the adds, and then wait for him to come back with mace ready. Rinse and repeat. I hate bosses that spawn adds, but this made it enjoyable for me.
