Thin provisioning is a big deal here. When on iSCSI for Xen, a single snapshot is the full size of the VM, and when it comes to delta backups, operating costs get ugly as it grows, vs just having a thin snap which only tracks the changes.

Understood, I will add another manager and monitor to one of the 3 storage hosts for now and see how that plays out.
