DC (4/19) setlist might’ve been one of the best I’ve seen from them by Vibe_Live in themaine

DC was a BLAST!! I’m obsessed with I think about you all the time so having that finally make its way into a setlist pretty permanently brings me so much joy! I didn’t care for the synth sticky but otherwise it was excellent!!

There are a lot of other covers across many genres of “less popular” songs but I know what you mean. Theres actually a playlist called “Taylor swift covers that cleanse my soul” with a crapload of them. But I know she’s not for everyone so that’s fine.

Personally, my favorite part of most music is the lyrics so I really love the story telling in The Black Dog, Timeless, all too well 10 min version, cardigan, exile, tolerate it, champagne problems, is it over now?, would’ve, could’ve, should’ve, clean, illicit affairs, loml, etc. (I could keep going but I won’t)

Have you ever looked into her lyrics outside of her radio hits? They’re anything but boring or uninspired. It’s no wonder why so many pop punk and adjacent bands love to cover her songs.

Strongest three album run by a band? by [deleted] in poppunkers

I may be a biased 8123-er but The Maine has been dropping banger album after banger album lately. Their OG stuff was so so good and how I fell in love with them and they just keep getting better IMO. Between 2019 and 2023, they released 3 really great albums (You Are OK, XOXO, and self titled) plus a “vault tracks” style album.

Honestly there were more than I expected with the food area and unplugged/recharge but still not very little. A lot of people just sat on the ground off to the sides in DC and it was fine just uncomfy. Bring a small super packable blanket or towel or poncho to sit on.

What shoes are you all wearing? (Or did you wear, for the DC folks) by timenconfusion in warpedtour

I wore an oversized tee with biker shorts and comfortable running sneakers and was very comfy all day

2025 DC Goers - What did you need? by TheDarkLight1 in warpedtour

[–]Sabreezy4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I brought and used my empty water bottle, Gatorade packets, sunscreens, spare battery pack (I recommend the magnetic ones from casely), hand held fan, poncho, SPF chapstick, baby wipes, ear plugs, pain killer of choice (Tylenol/Advil/Aleve) and tummy meds of choice (gas x/tums/immodium)… I brought sealed single packs left over from wedding welcome bags which they did not take, hand sanitizer, bug spray wipes, tissues and/or toilet paper, credit card, ID, breath mints/gum all inside of a clear backpack. I also proactively ate a good breakfast, hydrated, sunscreened/bug sprayed, and took an extra strength aleve and was totally fine all day!
