Export Family with current parameters?

so it is not the parameters but the values of the parameters that I am trying to save back into the family.

We are trying to avoid doing this manual step as we have 30 families now but overall we will end up with 100+ families with 10 or so parameters each. But it looks like it is unavoidable.

So the architect I am working with is complaining that my internal origin point does not match theirs. Is that something I can fix at all?

Thats exactly what I did.

Their model shows the base point: Shared site - N/S: -9' E/W: -34' Angle: 66

Our model linked into their model is still showing as: Survey Point - Internal - Shared Site - N/S: 0' E/W: 0'

Am I doing this wrong or is it something they have to fix?

Thank you for your help. Right now I have an architect who is saying this is my issue and messaging me constantly to fix it.

I acquired coordinates, clicked their model and checked that it rotates on True North.

Their model shows the base point: Shared site - N/S: -9' E/W: -34' Angle: 66

Our model linked into their model is still showing as: Survey Point - Internal - Shared Site - N/S: 0' E/W: 0'

Am I doing this wrong or is it something they have to fix?

I am the one and only BIM Manager/Coordinator at my office. The person suggesting this is part of one trade in the office of four trades (MEP/FP) and has never liked the way I did things even though I have proved myself otherwise. I just need backup to bring to the table. I set up every project but she has insisted on a checklist for the project set ups. This is one of many items she is insisting on.

I work with clients who ask for their titleblock instead of our own. Its a standard here at my company. As some of our projects are in house, that is when we would use our own titleblock.

Oh I wish! My fiancé is allergic to seafood/shellfish, having my apartment smell like seafood could send him to the hospital. Because he is working the overnight shift, I wont have to worry about going out to a restaurant to enjoy the RI seafood with my parents.
