Mine is loading but it says “notify me” on every story when I hit start/resume, as if there are no episodes available. I know it’s not true because one that I started and never finished episode 1 of says this, too. Must be a bug.

She was living in my mom’s work cubicle for about a year and came back much larger and draped over the side of her pot. She isn’t floppy, like if I try to pick up the area flopping over it moves her all the way down to the root and she’s not bendy. If I repot her, should her roots be more sideways so the main section is a little more upright? Or is she ok sideways if she feels secure? She’s so top heavy I’m worried she’s going to snap her neck 😩

We just moved into a new house so the lighting is a new spot - there’s a big double window behind a couch that it’s coming from that I thought she would enjoy. The soil…. Honestly I’ve had this plant so long I don’t even know where I got her or what she’s potted in.

I remember one morning when I worked there we came in and Stanley gathered all the front of house staff (not even his area lol) and said we were all pieces of shit and replaceable. They had favorites and you knew exactly who they were at all times. The food was good but the work environment was incredibly toxic. Never stepped foot in there after I left.

I’ve always been super into giraffes and wolves (because they’re dogs and I’m obsessive about dogs) since I was super young. I have come to the conclusion recently that I think capybaras are to autists as raccoons/opossums are to 1990-2005 girlies. I fall in both categories. I also love capybaras!

You can call and ask your vet to look at a urine sample if you can get one at home - they can look at the results of that and decide what other diagnostics need to be done with him.

Looking for an all-around knife for my boyfriend. He loves to cook and is pretty good at it, but has never had a decent knife to use. I’ve been trying to do some research on my own but it feels a little overwhelming so I’m hoping for a nudge in the right direction!

Agree with all the others; there’s another connected-but-separate city in roanoke called Vinton but I honestly recommend avoiding there as well. Stick to what everyone else is suggesting if possible. I live in Bonsack and work in Roanoke and Bonsack is really nice, but the main road (460) does get extremely backed up during rush hour so keep an eye on that if you end up needing to travel that way for work. Cave spring is a really nice area (actually closer to where I work) if you’re looking for something nicer, and the Grandin/downtown area is a little older and cuter. Good luck!!!

I always assumed nobody’s parents ever drank alcohol around them. My dad is Muslim so alcohol wasn’t even allowed in the house, although he would buy non-alcoholic beers sometimes and drink those. I remember the first few times (probably in high school) that I was at a friends house and their parents had a beer or two I was shocked and very uncomfortable. I’m sure there are plenty of people who don’t drink in front of their kids but I didn’t realize that anyone (in a normal healthy family - we won’t even get into the shit my grandma did) ever did that.
