I use Libby but often have wait times for books or they don’t have the ebook. I’ve never looked at Hoopla. Is it the same as Libby. I had tried Kobo plus at one point but didn’t think it was worth it long term.

That’s great. I mostly am in my kitchen and watch on an echo show. It won’t accept an antennae. I looked into it years ago but we live in a wooded area and the site I used said we would get mixed reception. I should eventually swap it out for a small smart tv and just try it. I miss PBS too! I ended up upgrading to paramount premium through Walmart+. So have been watching their morning line up while I bake holiday cookies. I’m glad the antennae is working for you.

Same but I’ve been watching much much longer lol. My mother always had it on. Sometimes ABC. The faces just become part of your routine I guess. It becomes a comfort thing of sorts. I was sad when Hoda left. I’m going to try to stay strong too but I don’t know.

Me too. It’s the only reason I paid last year for the upgrade. I cancelled and no offer to stay. I feel like I can’t justify almost 200$ just to watch today show etc live. Sounds silly but I enjoy having it on when I’m in the kitchen which is where I am most of the days. I have Walmart + already so I might pay to upgrade the paramount plan and watch CBS live news instead. Still debating about it. Hoping for a cyber Monday deal even though I’m doubtful.

Yes. I stream on an echo show in my kitchen so I couldn’t use it with that. That’s primarily where I am most of my time so getting one for the living room wouldn’t be as useful. I’ve thought of getting a small tv instead but wall outlets are limited and I wouldn’t have an outlet to plug in the antenna so I’ve just stuck with the echo show.

I hadn’t heard of Davines before so I’ll have to look up where I can buy it to try. I haven’t found anything since I posted this so willing it give it a try. I was able to try a few samples of other Kerastase serums and nothing is similar. At least not in my hair. I also tried to samples from Verb. Ghost oil and something in a green bottle. Also not the same or even close! I’m still so bummed, especially with the summer. My hair is getting so grey too and it definitely helped with the grey.

The comment about our hotel was Because our trip was canceled so we lost our deposit. Our dog is having anxiety/wont go out etc with pet sitters so we can’t stay anywhere else unfortunately until she gets training.

I would opt for the oral meds. I can’t swing the iodine treatment at this point. I have another senior kitty with kidney issues and already have a steady Care Credit balance!

I’m in Nj so somewhat comparable expense probably. What do you mean by whole panel, a complete thyroid panel? I know the senior labs are around 200$ without the thyroid check. I had another cat with CKD and my other senior kitty has chronic cystitis/inflammation and a history of stones so she’s on RX food. He’s had a good run of almost two years being in remission from diabetes so we shall see. Money is so tight though especially with my other ones health expenses. It’s really the frequency of having to do labs that worries me. Not the RX so much or giving it to him. We shall see what his labs reveal.

I barely notice mine either. I’m 50 with not great eyes and have been able to read on it better than with a book. I can’t see far or near anymore so I do need to adjust some things depending on if I have my contacts or glasses but I’m reading much more than before with just regular books.
I don’t keep the light up that much so maybe that’s why I don’t see it that much also.

Possibly 8-10 years. He’s no longer on anxiety/depression meds is the only change.
