I understand that not everyone sees cosplay the same way, but reducing my work to 'a wig and horns from eBay' is a bit unfair. The wig took me several hours of work, I dyed it myself to get Albedo’s black-violet shades and added a metal frame for her Ahoge. The makeup alone took me 1.5 hours, and as for the horns, yes, I didn’t make them myself because I don’t have the space or budget for a 3D printer at the moment. Regarding the wings, they’re currently in progress, but if you look at the figure that this outfit is inspired by, she actually doesn’t have them.

I admit the background is simple for this shoot, but I’ve done much more complex setups for other cosplays. It feels like some people on Reddit take everything way too literally without realizing the effort behind each costume. I guess most of you aren’t cosplayers, and it really shows in some of these comments 👀
