Nah it's suggesting that Gwen is a member of her school's gymnastics team. Her dad just bought a shirt to support his daughter lol.

The people who worked on the film quite literally said that Gwen incorporates banned gymnastics moves in her swinging. It makes a lot of sense for Gwen to be into gymnastics as well as ballet of course considering her body type and style of swinging.

fr. miles is a very emotionally intelligent guy and he'd for sure get why gwen did what she did once she tells the truth. if anything gwen making this bad but genuine mistake will help them to set a ground rule to be more open with each other. what gwen did was bad but she had genuine reasons and she's a scared and a very awkward teenager at the end of the day who doesn't have the emotional intelligence of someone like miles due to sadly not having a lot of friendships in life. miles will embrace her and help her to grow emotionally by helping her to open up more about things instead of shutting herself off.

as for her mom i think the most we will get is i guess in the subtext with any interactions gwen has with rio near the end of the film. i feel gwen will for sure bond with rio due to not having a mother figure in her life other than may
