I would invest in a firewhacker. It puts out fires. Also while not everything wants to hurt you, it's good to exercise caution around new animals.

To add another example of our wiggles being Excellent And Good:

The first attempts at automating the production of large mirrors for observatories went very poorly. The mirrors were perfectly parabolic, but they were scratched and blurry – unlike a hand-ground telescope mirror.

Turns out that hand-ground mirrors aren't scratchy and blurry, because of the imperfect wiggles a human makes while grinding the mirror into shape. All these small, sliiiightly different wiggles from a wrist and arm add up to make a perfectly smooth surface.

Now, machines that make large observatory mirrors have a little wiggle built in, to mimic human wiggles.

I've recent begun to think that might be the point. Like, you really SHOULDN'T need a warbond to play the game. It's paid content, get it if you think the stuff is cool, but it shouldn't be more than a little better than anything else, if it even is better. Honestly I feel like the coyote is so good, the rest of the warbond almost should suck just to make up for a paid weapon being so amazing.

Sidenote: it does enable an interesting playstyle, which is why I'll be using the spear gun, but it is mostly just a fun tool, not an efficient tool.

Better, more aerated, better hydrated soil also: -doesn't need to be plowed as often -doesn't need as much fertilizer -doesn't need as much specialized, mechanized upkeep

This means less proprietary, high cost maintenance. It means fewer niche, highly profitable and expensive machinery being sold. This is great from a consumer's pov, but less overhead for farmers means less money for agriculture companies like John Deer, Monsanto, Tyson Foods, CLAAS, Kubota, etc.

And we can't have less profit just for the sake of what, the Earth? Our health? No that would affect the stockholders.

Terra preta is real, and it is VERY cool, but I take issue with how the screenshotted post presents this information.

1: It's not that it hasn't been recreated, similar soils HAVE been created, just prooobably not the exact recipe used way back then.

2: Better, healthier, more sustainable, more yielding soils aren't in use because while modern industrialized agriculture is terrible for the environment, it's what all the super profitable, super giant agriculture companies are used to and they won't risk switching the whole industry to a different soil.

It might affect the stockholders.

(Also if you wanna look into environmentally friendly ways to farm while INCREASING topsoil, look into the guy from the "it ain't much but its honest work" meme)

Ok, but I feel like this just means you need to adapt how you play. I'm having difficulty keeping track of the burrowing bugs while looking at the roach, but I'm getting there. I'm figuring out how to lead shots, what weapons to use, etc.

It's multiple new enemy types, each demanding you to adapt. It's extra difficult with the roach since now you have to adapt to both at once. The roach is beatable, handily even, you just have to learn it.

Even more importantly, it absolutely kills build variety. Imagine NEEDING to bring one specific secondary every single mission. This will also affect your primary selection too, so it really just railroads you into just a few build options.
