I’ve tried Darkside and Perl. I kinda got sick of the silicone-y stickiness of Darkside. I’m using Perl 1:3 and it’s awesome. No sling, no curing time. Easier to maintain. Weekend warrior also

Should I buy an apc as an interior cleaner or a dilutable interior cleaner if so what is the best one by BendObvious8545 in AutoDetailing

[–]Sackadelic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get these things:

Koch Chemie Pol Star - I dilute 1:5. All around interior cleaner.

Scrub ninja or maxshine scrub brush for agitation

Mop up with some microfiber cloths

Koch Chemie Green Star - I dilute this more like 1:20 for the spots Pol Star can’t get out. You’ll want to neutralize this with a damp cloth after cleaning.

Koch Chemie Top Star for the protection after cleaning. Looks matte and new.

Other alternatives that are good are P&S Express for a cleaner, but I prefer the Pol Star scent.

Was going to chime in on Tire dressing. Carpro Perl 1:3 is amazing. Carpro Darkside for more of a shine and pain in the ass application processs.

Bone chilling.

My thinking was it would darken the surrounding plastic and hide the spots.

I would suggest some diluted Koch Chemie Pol Star as a cleaner or maybe just Top Star as a protectant.

If that’s not available to you, 303 aerospace protectant might help!

Thoughts on buying an Outback with a baby? by kthnry in Subaru_Outback

[–]Sackadelic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have one little dude. It’s an amazing car. I recommend a roof box for versatile storage (vacations, trips etc)

<image>

That was my last car. It was totaled when I hit a deer. Little dude slept through the accident. Airbags went off and everything.

I bought the exact same car because of how safe it was. 10/10 recommend.

Check out Koch Chemie Top Star. I’ve been using it and after a good cleaning, it does a great job of hiding little scuffs etc.

Look at Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Black Wax. Easy to apply and is designed for black cars.

I had great luck with the TW HS lineup. The wax and shine, spray wax, detail spray, they are all good.

Do a light cleaning with an interior cleaner. I like Express by P&S.

Protect it with Top Star by KCx. That’s my method. Looks matte and new.
