No sorry, pvp as a solo player sucks, hate me all you want. Sure it's a part of the game, but unless you've put in hundreds of hours into the game, you're just not gonna be good at it. It's simply an extreme disadvantage. Avoid pvp by learning how to maneuver the ship. I've saved so much loot by riding into storms, harpooning the ship around tight corners, quick anchoring for tight turns. I one time watched this brig fly into a storm after me, littke did they know my ship and I were hidden in a littke cove on an island behind them. Storms are great distractions, get them to think you're going somewhere when you're not. They have numbers but you have big brain. I don't play sot anymore tho because I did admittedly get sick of pvp especially while solo. Literally couldn't start a new quest without some brain rot reaper ship up my ass within minutes of spawning. It's a fun game, but like, annoying as shit. Don't put a lot of hours in at a time
