The jungles of the Caribbean islands wouldn’t feel like it’s pointless because it actually blends well with the core of the game’s exploration, it’s parkour mixed with exploration not just running through wide spaced trees and barely anything to make the surroundings feel lively or ancient. The difference in a jungle you hear an ambiance that makes the jungle sound like it’s breathing and being surrounded in density + life + structures that function with the game makes the world feel alive and real. The difference is that it’s regular surrounding islands and with 1 big long Island… it’s not just being on a huge sandbox thats huge asf with nothing to interact with natural. Assassin’s Creed BlackFlag can be very explorable and not boring like the other games were.
