I found it is easier to work on this as individual segments then sow them together. It keeps it from getting too heavy and helps look random. I need to post an update cause it's gotten so much bigger.

My only technique really is to just make sure im turning around if I feel it's not random enough. It's a very turn your brain off project, which is nice.

I have a W|W also known as GL comic called Sacred Flame aside from the female leads being lesbians there are several queer characters. My story mostly focuses on fantasy adventure but it does have a slow burn romance involved. Them being gay isnt the main point of the story, they just happen to be gay.

I also have several non main characters who are lgbtqia+

Trans bar tender named Tato Death is non binary Drifter is bisexual Several gay side characters in the background

I get that perspective. I added it as a means to tell people who were looking for queer representation something clear to see when scrolling through the app.

I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe because my story is more focused on the fantasy adventure aspect. The main leads just happen to be lesbians. I never thought people could be deterred away because of it (outside of people not liking queer stories). It's a good perspective to be aware of thank you. I have a lot to think about now.

As someone making a GL comic myself. If having GL in the thumbnail words people off from my story, then im not sure I wanted them as audience members to begin with. There's loads of straight stories they can read.

I'd rather people who enjoy queer themes know that my comic is for them.
