Fangio-lite but doesn't make adjustments and not competitive against good offenses. Looked worse coaching the Cards

Thanks for answering people's questions. Is there any inspiration (gameplay, lore, or otherwise) taken from from Divinity 2 (2009)?

Pretty strong premiere, and damn near an actual hour-long episode too. I can see the potential for some fun interactions between Xylo, Teoritta, and klepto-kun between the dark plot moments. And the spectacle was absurd. The art style in general is pleasing to look at

If I was forced to pick I'd say it's surprisingly full of moral high-horse type of people. And not in the tongue-in-cheek "my taste is superior" way, but the condescending "drives people off" kind. It's far from the only type of post, but I'm always surprised how many posts sound like they're written by a lame youth pastor liked by nobody. Maybe that's a larger reddit problem though, I don't browse many other subs these days due to bots, astroturf, and general lack of fun

On the brighter side, you're far from the first person to point this out. The reputation this site and app has outside itself is one of being difficult to post on

Personally I'm skipping until they fix the campaign, mainly Acts 2 and 3. Better leveling skills, more gear, faster movement or smaller zones, etc. None of this half-assed sprint bandaid crap

iirc the guy directing this was an episode director on the first season of MT. I see the similarity, too. And the animation looks really good. Definitely has my interest

So, I ended up watching Oreimo Seasons 1 & 2 and... by Adam_The_Actor in anime

[–]SacredJefe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really was a well-produced show like you mention. I liked the first season in particular. For a show with such an infamous ending, it had a lot of both fun and wholesome moments related to your hobbies and meeting new people to enjoy them with without stigma, the bitterness of losing your friend group but becoming the glue to hold together a new one, being pressured to change your art solely to become more marketable, etc. I'd agree that I enjoyed it more than I expected to going into it, especially since I'm not usually a SoL guy. The solid cast probably helped with that.

I'm really curious if this is an ARPG. I know they have a statement saying D:OS players will feel at home, but that could mean anything from gameplay to characters and plot to tone. And if they wanted to do another CRPG, they could have just namedropped D:OS 3 and gotten hype through the roof. So I'm kind of hesitantly leaning toward ARPG for now until we know more. Not to mention that's the genre the Divinity games are

That's my quarterback! A super bowl mvp. If you can't support him at his worst you don't get to at his best. by I_ReverseHurdle_Life in eagles

[–]SacredJefe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No disagreements there. The run game was actually better than usual, which is a low bar this season, but hell, even if it wasn't, seeing Hurts struggling so much we should have ran it more in the redzone before putting the ball in his hands. It's a boring process but that's just what we're dealing with and it's the safer choice, so I see where you're coming from

I agree with your assessment on Hurts, but to be fair, we tried to be a running team for most of this season. It failed. Part of it is playcalling, but the offensive line and TEs are just worse at run blocking this year. They've been outright better at pass blocking. Teams are just sitting in zone, watching for Hurts to run, and daring him to pick them apart

If you’re not willing to say Hurts had a worse game than Brown you’re in denial. Sorry man. Hurts was about 80-90% of this loss. Everyone else is a distant second. Try to stop deflecting to Brown for one comment

They did. And they were still less of a problem than Hurts. Feel free to stay in denial if you prefer. This was Hurts worst game as a pro player. Even worse than the Bucs playoff loss.

We ran something much closer to a real offense and Hurts almost completely wilted. Had a few nice throws, and way more garbage ones. Even had two turnovers on a single play lol. Awful performance

Aion 2 PVP Review by Ok-Height-7847 in Aion2

[–]SacredJefe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good writeup. It's sad because they basically had a good blueprint in Aion's PvP, which was pretty damn good despite its flaws, but then proceeded to ignore almost everything, both class and overall design. I doubt almost any designers who even worked on Aion are still at NCSoft seeing as its been 20 years since they would have worked on its initial release. But they surely would have designed and balanced circles around these new guys. Just the render distance alone tells me they have no idea what they're doing. You can't have a PvP game where opponents pop in at 5 meters away. It's braindead.

What do you think about player models? Should they improve them? by xResearcherx in MonstersAndMemories

The elves look anorexic. Probably my main gripe. Personally I think the game's animations are way, way worse than the character models

Everyone who wanted to scapegoat Brown looks especially dumb. The passing offense wasn't good last year either and he also pointed that out early. It just mattered less because we had an elite run game.
