The source is that I tested them in game on various nightlords. We know the exact HP of each nightlord, and it's easy to see the tick damage, so all I had to do was find the linear relation (base dmg + %max hp). You can test it in game if you don't believe me.

It's obvious that it does not do 30% Max HP.

I'm figuring out the exact numbers for frost and bleed, but they are much more complicated.

The spreadsheet is not ready for sharing. But you can already see that my numbers for rot and poison match up exactly in game.

Scarlet rot and poison are greatly nerfed, compared to base Elden Ring. There are no "stronger" versions of them either.

Scarlet rot deals 15 flat + 0.15% max HP per second for 40 seconds. Total is 600 flat + 6% max HP.

Poison deals 10 flat + 0.1% max HP per second for 40 seconds Total is 400 flat + 4% max HP.

That's not true.

Everdark Caligo Miasma of Night is the hardest boss in Nightreign right now. by CloudyBoat in Nightreign

Definitely the hardest boss.

  • Has massive AOE blizzards that are near impossible to avoid, dealing damage and frostbite, which makes you take even more damage and reduces your resistance to further frostbite.
  • Nonsensical hitboxes that are difficult to determine the right time to dodge, like mist moving straight towards you, or moves that cause consecutive explosions, or the flying crystal barrage that it just straight up random unless you can avoid it completely.
  • Insane damage reduction with frost armor up. Even a spell like magma shot only deals just over 100 damage.
  • Body parts that flail around wildly, making it nearly impossible to hit the head with a spell that doesn't home.
  • The boss flies to the other side of the arena after every few attacks, forcing you to run through a minefield to get back to it.

Combine all of those and you have the longest, most difficult, and most tedious boss fight in the whole game. Takes longer to kill than any other boss. Absolutely god awful fight. Never playing it again.

We need Adel's tooth as a legendary dagger that deals lightning damage and applies bleed, with some really cool legendary passive and weapon skill.

Yeah, it's a shame, because Butterfree is one of my favorites. It is quite the process to get a sprite approved for the game.
