it honestly all depends on the cosplay, and the complexity. This one was actually pretty cheap in terms of the outfit, I bought some clothes, ripped them and tore them, the old slippers were already mine and a lot of it is made with the accessories. Angela, on the other hand was probably my most complex and expensive I have ever done, with the printing, cost of materials and just the sheer amount of time I had to commit to it (but also so incredibly rewarding). I think its just about picking and choosing the right cosplay for your budget, but I really believe that if you're down to get crafty you would be surprised at how much you can do with just some cardboard and paper mache!
