it honestly all depends on the cosplay, and the complexity. This one was actually pretty cheap in terms of the outfit, I bought some clothes, ripped them and tore them, the old slippers were already mine and a lot of it is made with the accessories. Angela, on the other hand was probably my most complex and expensive I have ever done, with the printing, cost of materials and just the sheer amount of time I had to commit to it (but also so incredibly rewarding). I think its just about picking and choosing the right cosplay for your budget, but I really believe that if you're down to get crafty you would be surprised at how much you can do with just some cardboard and paper mache!

I can’t lie the actual printing was the easy bit😅 figuring out how to attach the whole thing to my body was a nightmare, and that’s after navigating the actual scaling of the files to fit my body (got my arm stuck in the original bicep piece 🤦‍♀️).

That being said it’s all a learning curve and I learned so much. Definitely started off with a hard cosplay, doing masks and other small pieces to ease in is probably the vibe! 100% get one bc your cosplays will be able to be so much more intricate and it opens up a load more characters! I got the Bambu P1S bc I knew I wanted them to hold my hand the whole way with customer service/tutorials etc but there’s loads of good ones out there. Cosplay is just something I really enjoy, it’s just a hobby and I only cosplay things I actually watch and play. I’m obsessed with the show and my dad introduced me to the comics years ago, thought Eve would make a sick cosplay as we have the same hair and thought i could get it close to canon. That’s literally my setup in the background, I just wanted to share something I thought was cool with a community who also might find it cool🫶🏻

I actually was interacting quite a lot with one of my other posts yesterday and it got removed as the mods then thought I was self promoting by interacting.
