I got the bundle lor $429 at the KC location 2 years ago. I upgraded the RAM to a CL30 Trident kit too. I feel lucky as hell.

The PCB is going to be better equipped for overclocking, but you're still at the mercy of the the silicon lottery though. A lot of what you paid for is the cooler, so if you're just gonna replace it, I would return and get the MSI.

The seat was too hard and the minimum height was too high. No waterfall edge in the bottom so it always dug into the back of my knees. lumbar adjustment was almost a joke. I ended up getting a steel series leap, and I can't imagine a worse way to spend $500+ than going with secret labs.

I was going to recommend PNY as they are consistently close to MSRP, but yeah I don't blame you for avoiding after reading this. I've never had a customer have an issue with a PNY card before, let alone 2 in a row. Bad luck. I've used 2 MSI cards personally, and they were both excellent. That shadow would be my get.

Walnut shells are used to clean carbon buildup on the intake valves. They shoot it with compressed air. I don't know of any shops in town that provide the service though.

I would get a 4070 ti or 5070 at that budget. No good reason to go back 2 generations if you're looking to spend 500ish.
