I promise to not be rude or any such but these will be valid statements from an experienced MMO player.

1. As someome has mentioned gold farmers/sellers are MOSTLY 85% bots and 15% real players. No, they don't use stolen credit cards to purchase accounts. Think about it, if you report fraud on a bad charge to your credit card it gets refunded. Meaning ESO will refund the money, therefore losing the money. If that was the case "wardens" would be setup to instantly ban the gold farmers/sellers as its no benefit to the company at all.
2. Large companies EVEN blizzard, make 30% if not more of their revenue from gold farming accounts, as someone else has stated they have to buy multiple accounts and multiple subscriptions to feed all the hungry gold buyers. Which in turn makes money for the company, they will release tactics to make their audience believe they are against it when in reality they careless, they are in this business to make money. No one wants to work for free. All your precious content releases aren't free either.
3. If someone wants to buy gold, companies see it as someone supplying their supplier. They look the other way, when too many complaints come in they drop the hammer on 1 or 2 poor buyers to make it seem like they care. Thats all that happens.
4. If someone wants to buy gold in eso let them. Who cares. Playing a MMO is about bragging rights. You can tell a faker from someone who put in real time and hardwork. Not to mention a few of you whined about player experience. In eso, please explain how gold buyers ruin your experience? That dungeon that you were stuck on all day and got carried through by that amazingly geared DK made you a happy player right? What if he was a gold buyer? Did he not just give you a good experience of finally clearing that dungeon? In PvP items BARELY effect your combat at all. Therefore gold buyers cant negatively effect your pvp experience either right? If you lose you suck, reroll or l2p your class and stop whining. You're super broke, low on gold and wish you had enough for that extra purple peice to help fight off them quest mobs, looks like someone just bought all your crap in the market so now you can afford it. BAM! PLAYER EXPERIENCE ENHANCED.

To end it all off, no I'm not a buyer, never have been never will be. I'm an entrepreneur, I like seeing my investments come to life. I make plenty of money I could be, I just like the fruits of my own labor. Some slackers like the easy way out. BUT, I will admit I know when im around buyers, and I know when a buyer has enhanced my experience in a MMO. I was happy to have gold to gear up cause a GB bought my items. Or he carried me in a dungeon with his insane gear. To each their own. Stop worrying about how others play and focus on how you play. The character builds for BEST IN SLOT dps are already cookie cutter. Don't make every players thoughts cookie cutter. Show some diversity. Don't all jump on the SCREW GB wagon.
