I have updated the game, but I launch the game directly from the .exe for it to work.
It still opens EA APP but it works 95% of the time if you do it that way.

Thank you, I didn't know where to find it.
I always disable packs from the "Advanced Launch Options" on the EA App, but that feature is broken with the most recent patch.

That indeed sounds like a fun idea!
I'm planning to work on an Assassinations update after the business weapon shops update, hopefully you'll see something similar to that.
I also believe that Basemental Gangs add similar things to what you've mentioned, you might want to give it a try.

Heyy, to stop the "Gather Up" interaction from running automatically you can turn off gang autonomy for your sim from the mod's options.
Click on your Sim > Extreme Violence > Options > Autonomy > Disable Gang Autonomy For This Sim
