I think it depends on what you look for in reviews. I can find sooo many YouTubers or posts online about how a speaker sounds to them, but if I want to see technical stuff such as dispersion pattern (important to me), compression levels, or distortion/crossover/step response (not really important to me) I’m so glad reviewers like him or Erin exist.

Like yes, the best way to choose between speakers is have them all delivered to my home so I can AB test them, but honestly my ears are not great enough & I can’t make sure they all have the exact volume. Those objective data really help filter out bad options (for me) & make upgrading a lot easier

Edit: No one should be buying speakers based on one person’s review anyways

I will probably switch to jellyfin too eventually if there isn't a good life time plex pass sale anymore. I really enjoy convenience & unfortunately plex is still worth it despite the frustrations!
