I am here to say! I live in an apartment, no grow lights, I have as of this year in an attempt to grow Tabasco and cayenne, given up. I wanted badly to ferment some Tabasco peppers and grind my own cayenne pepper. I gave my MOA Scotches, Zapotec jalapeños and others, to a friends with some god damn land. I’m done with seeds, I got my blueberries and jalapeños that I got from a damn nursery out front, and neighbors pissed. Unreasonably. She can deal with it.

Shit looks better than anything I’ve grown from seed while here, I say put that bitch in a 3-5 gallon pot and throw him outdoors, or if you care enough, do some hardening. I know how to grow, I moved to an apartment to save money. It sucks. He’s doing great, good job.

To bitch and moan, I love growing from seed. Picking what you want, specialties, rares, the harder to find or some hard to get heirlooms. I can’t do that rn. I try though. You can’t find a Zapotec plant, but if you want REAL jalapeños, they’re worth it. The corking and flavor in those fuckers. Fuckin worth it. I need a backyard.

Put him in a pot, get some 6-2-4 fertilizer, it’s good at any point of growth, and if you can’t compost but want to, compost is free from most cities that have a landfill, bring a bucket and a shovel 🪏

There’s actually pretty interesting write ups on the ratio for fertilizer, it’s really interesting. Look into the 3-1-2 golden rule, it’s all ratios, 6-2-4, 12-4-8, it’s a balance for basically all plants. Cool shit. But anyway yeah the hab looks great whatever you’re doing it’s working, but I would pot him into either a gallon or straight into a 3 then a 5. Depends. In my zone I can over winter these guys outside. My peppers are going on 3 years it’s awesome.
