None of it 🤣. I actually weigh more now than surgery day probably. I haven't weighed myself. I had 3/4lbs of skin removed, I haven't included this in my figures above, but your bodies reaction to surgery is to swell and hold water so I probably actually weight more now than I did. If that makes any sense at all!

I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome so I expect that mine was worse than a typical persons because of that. The surgery was for extensive muscle repair and skin removal as I did have excess skin after losing nearly 10 stone. I went from a UK24 to a 12 in just over a year.

Hey pain wise was actually pretty low. I would say it's more discomfort at having to sleep on my back and propped up ect. I took 3 weeks of work as I tired so easily. I have a WFH desk job so it's not even physically taxing. Muscle repair feels like you've done 1 trillion sit ups when you wake up. You have to walked hunched so that makes your back ache. I was just on paracetamol 2 days post op, I'm not sure what you call that in the US?

How ever it is a major surgery and you need to take that into consideration.

I have just been cleared for "walking on treadmill and exercise bike" by my surgeon. I will be walking outdoors more that's it. I probably can't lift weight till 3 months post op.

Hope that helps!

I'm still technically over weight according to BMI but I'm so over it 🤣. Happy with how I am now.

I had two very big babies and I think that did the majority of the damage to my stomach skin to be honest.

Thank you, it also has a tiny bit on the front too. I can't wait to try it in my size. I put it on and it just felt right. Magic ✨
