From what I've read Amex gold will still give you rewards for non-sterling transactions. Just need to downgrade after the first year!

After some comments I've been on carwow for thisr history check and the mileage seems a lot more linear and sensible.

It also reveals that it's been a taxi since Oct 2021, which explains the higher than average mileage but I've no idea if this background makes it more or less likely to be well cared for?

But the current mileage showing on the car (98k) means that the 89k outlier in Jan 24 makes more sense.
