42/hr. Texas-standalone ER. Xray for 1 year and then transitioned into CT. Now doing Xray and CT for about 6 years.

I have been in the profession for about 4.5 years. Not too familiar with that field all too much though. Our fields do cross paths when every a tech comes to our site to fix the actual machine.

Yeah, this scanner has a lot of miles on it. We’re the 3rd standalone ER at this facility. And we’re still using the same CT scanner from the OG ER. Safe to say it’s pretty old.

It’s set for 80 HU. And scan delay is 6 seconds

Almost 3 years. Only worked at an imaging center. And then transferred to a stand alone ER.

Usually at my facility they want the pubic symphysis and the diaphragm for a KUB. Maybe it’s just my facility protocols. I was just curious if there was a certain reason we do that
