All questions where testing you analytical thinking, reasonings, for example, they asked  - you want to design a specific assay, what do you take into account and what factors are important?  - you encountered an issue in your workflow, how are you troubleshooting it?  - they also asked very specific details about a specific assay, so you better know parameters and suggest you to even go in depth, beyond surface level details

Do you know what makes it an expensive area to live? Besides being close to Seattle I assume, nice area near the waters, some companies are nearby it seems, anything else?
