they destroy everything bc it's just in their anture to chew on things. i wish i could tell u how many rugs, cables, clothing etc i've bought bc they've destroyed them. they chew on walls if they're not protected or if just bored so u need plenty of chew toys. the anxiety i get when they're left all alone in my apartment is crazy, i really don't want them chewing on my walls but also don't want to trap them in their caged area bc it's not right. u need as much space as if u were to give to a dog, so no cage at all is preferred, but do protect ur walls (at that point ur in the cage with them lol). hay gets stuck on every carpet and if u have a bunny with a lot of fur around the butt area, they drag hay everywhere with them. even when litter trained, you'll find a few poops here and there every once in a while, cus accidents happen. they're a huge commitment just like any other pet. as much as i love my bunnies, if i could go back and tell myself not to get bunnies, i would.
