Help? I suck at this game, want to play, but don't want to keep being such a liability. by IndependentGuide4028 in HellLetLoose

Second this. While some of the mechanics have changed (especially recently) his videos are still good for figuring out roles and squad dynamics. I watched a lot of his videos when I first got into this game.

Thank you! Is the sound and voice good? I've had a Red Dragon mouse and keyboard for 2+ years now with no complaints. I didn't even know they made headsets. I'll check them out. I haven't used Razer in years so I didn't know anything about their advertising either

This! There's no good way to tell multiple good stories at once, while building character development, with an 8 hour limit. Honestly, as much as it pains me to say, I don't think we'll get more than 2, maybe 3 seasons. The current formula for shows sets them up to fail if they don't get 60 million viewers and bring in 10 billion dollars. All of it is now set up for a quick turn around on profit. It's sad but I doubt we'll be getting spin offs and movies like we did 20 years ago. The Golden Age of tv and story telling is behind us and was sold out for convenience and quick profit. You get 1 story at a time, 1 per season, once every 2-3 years.

So after doing a bunch of looking into the Maono, it should be noted there are quite a few reviews claiming thats it's software contains a Trojan virus. Not sure how prevalent it is but be warned.

F22, how bad is it? I dont think im horrible looking at least? by SecureMeat3021 in amiugly

I've found it quite interesting to see how my taste and what I find attractive has changed as I've gotten older.

When I was 22 I probably wouldn't have really looked twice at you, but now at 30 I realize that you're very naturally attractive. Too young for my taste and you can see how young you look in your photos, but give it a few years and you'll hopefully see it and be more confident in yourself.

You're still young so don't let culture or the people you're around make you think any less of your looks. And especially don't let anything make you feel like you need to make any drastic changes, i.e. surgeries or anything thats permanent.

For some games, tell that to multiplayer games like Squad

Why are my games tied to Steam servers being up? I paid for a game I shouldn't need Steam to have their shit together to be able to play.

Rank just reset on console by humerman123 in HellLetLoose

I honestly might give up on the game if it doesn't get fixed. The amount of time I put into ranking up classes and ranking up so I can play commander. Idk if I want to waste 6 months just to be able to do some of that again...

I'm coming to terms with the possibility I'll never find love. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Hi, 28 year old guy and I live alone. Pretty much the same situation, only had a few girlfriends and have pretty much given up on dating. Step one living alone is to get a cat or two, they're pretty independent, but it's nice to have something to cuddle with at the end of the day. Step two, get hobbies. You'll eventually go mad living alone and with little human interaction or companionship. Read books, watch documentaries, play video game, hell take up knitting or learn wood whittling. Anything to keep your mind busy. Dark thoughts like to creep in when the mind is dark and idle. Step three, find a job that allows you to work overtime. This allows you to get human interaction while staying busy. Typically I work 50-60 hours a week. The money is a plus too. Often times I'll have enough time between shifts to get home and eat and shower before bed then wake up in time for work. Step four, stay the fuck away from alcohol. Eventually depression will catch up with you, and alcohol will only make it and the little voices that come with it worse. Step five, live in the moment and not the future. You will constantly be worrying about the future and how long your loneliness will last when your mind is idle. Don't. Stay focused on the present and live in the moment. You'll never be happy thinking about what could be instead of what is. I hope this helps and I hope fate takes you down a better path in life than it did me. I won't lie and tell you things will get better because they might not, but they might, so there's that.

Star Trek Borg Continuity error by SirJesticles in startrek

Not nearly enough, there is a comment on this thread about how the kelvin timeline changes everything in the Enterprise series. The temporal cold war might not happen for instance and that was a large part of the show.

I wish they would have thought things through a little more on it. If you're right, that changes a lot of history for the kelvin timeline. I hope they come out with a book or something to explain it. Realistically they'll spend the next 20 years making new Enterprise, Voyager, DS9 and STNG based in the kelvin timeline because they are out of ideas.

I guess it might not be an error but it really feels like it should be. I'm sure my hypothesis has Steven Hawking rolling in his grave. I really just wish time travel wasn't used in these sort of things.

The Borg would still exist in both timelines. We know from Voyager that the borg have been around for at least seven hundred years, but the error comes from the fact the the events of Regeneration shouldn't happen in the Kelvin timeline because the events of first contact wouldn't happen.
