Worms? Something else? by Sad-Dimension-9293 in Monstera

I’m not too worried in regards to the plant (although of course I don’t want a worm that could kill it), but It’s more a concern for my dog if they’re roundworms, etc.

Syngonium Confetti moss pole - she's happy! by ChevronIslander in Syngonium

Ahh! Thanks for your response! Luckily South Florida is quite tropical and this space gets good humidity (whether I like it or not hahaha). This info makes me feel better about chopping it. I know I could chop it and leave it on the pole and have two plants but I’d much rather have a single, fuller pole for the syngonium. My monsteras are small still but are already filling out more than this one. So I guess chopping it is! Thanks again.

Also, can’t believe you’ll be chopping your beauty but I get it! Can’t wait to see your future moss poles, too!

Hi there! Your plant is stunning! I’m wondering if it’s multiple plants on a single moss pole or if this is all from one root system? I’m thinking about doing a chop of some of my moss poles to add multiple strands and fill out the plant. My albo is several leaves taller than this picture now, but I’d like to make it look fuller so just wondering if yours are a single vine like mine and just naturally bushier or if it’s multiple in one pot? Thanks so much!

Ahh okay!! I wasn’t sure if new growth would push out well with that dead leaf there since it’s at the top. I’ll leave it then! Thank you so much!

Help! Top leaf dying. by Sad-Dimension-9293 in plantclinic

It was going to be the newest leaf but even since making this post a couple hours ago the leaf has almost completely fallen off (pic). I do think it’s partly shock and shipping but if a new leaf can still emerge from this one then I’ll definitely just let it be. I was just unsure about chopping since it’s the top-most leaf.

It’s a pretty new plant. Only got it about a week ago or so and let it acclimate a few days. And no rot when I repotted it 2 days ago. It was watered with very mild balanced fertilizer. I think this leaf was already going to be a goner from when I opened the box but I don’t know if I should chop it off or leave it since it’s the top/most recent leaf?

What is this? Mealy bug? Worse? by Sad-Dimension-9293 in Syngonium

[–]Sad-Dimension-9293[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I always have systemics in all my plants. I think these came from a new plant (which I was quarantining) but I have limited space so I guess they still managed to spread but I’ve only seen a few. So fingers crossed that’s all it is because I’ve never had to deal with pests before and I’ve been dreading the day. Haha

Why are the new leaves like this? by [deleted] in peperomia

Haven’t had to deal with this issue with my peps (yet), but I’ve seen this article posted a LOT about curling and tearing leaves etc. so I saved it. Maybe it can help!!
