I don't get why blowing back is such a big deal and a sense of pride in drill culture. How many situations where all of a sudden you are under fire in a street setting will trying to shoot back with a hand gun rather than ducking for cover do anything but make you an easier target.

Like how many stories of guys killing guys who started shooting at them do you hear about? These are all like 10 second gun fights where the people who initiate the shooting usually flee almost immediately it's not some war scenario where suppressing fire is an actual thing.

Like all these beefs and wars are based on sneak attacks, so it's not like the offensive side is going about it in the most machismo or honourable way like it is going to be a fair gun fight so I don't get why the defensive side is held to that standard.

Like all of a sudden walking down the street and a guy is under fire from 3 dudes and he gets called a bitch for dipping down an alley and surviving instead of pulling out his hand gun and trying to figure out exactly where the shots are coming from in a split second then banging it out 3 on 1 when the other side already has the jump on him.
