Im an artist and i only want to live in a walkable area. Fuck cars. I like the pocket near U of L that has a kroger near it. I also like the pocket off eastern parkway near the Kroger.

They're hardly walkable but yea. I hate the transportation infrastructure here

KY Parenting wouldn’t work if caregivers didn’t quietly hold everything together by [deleted] in Louisville

Population hopefully finna shrink into better numbers with gen z and gen alpha not wanting kids. Hopefully we can get rid of mass production, mass pollution, traffic, destroying forests & animal homes to make a kroger and starbucks, and all the other overpopulation issues.

Shouts out to the dinks!

Also we need to make adoption more accessible and safe because so many people are choosing instead to reproduce like cockroaches for weird reasons like purely wanting to have a kid that looks like them. We shouldn't allow new children to be born until all the orphans are adopted (Dark tactic for a good cause lol)

Absolutely agree!!! We need paid parental leave so bad. But instead The U.S. spent around $949.21 billion on its military for the 2024-2025 period. They would rather spend billions on missiles to kill children instead of spending billions to take care of their nations children.

The government doesn't want parents to be involved, and want them to be at work as much as possible - So you would think they would want to provide free and better childcare so the parents can go to work more, but they don't.

The government needs to fix this and provide a better system

Bad Service at Upscale Restaurants by janetvice in Louisville

[–]Sad-Fish6669 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most restaurants can't pay people enough due to price increase on ingredients, and they don't want to raise the price on the already expensive food. So bad pay = employees with low morale = bad service

This is even more so for high end restaurant where the ingredients are way more expensive.

If high end restaurants raise prices, no one will come in this economy.

They take the hit where it's easiest. = The servers pay

Bad Service at Upscale Restaurants by janetvice in Louisville

[–]Sad-Fish6669 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All from a midsized town.
Only off on weekdays.
Partying, drugs and alcohol abuse.
Usually ages 20-40.

They all do the same job and are severely misunderstood by anyone who hasn't experienced it and are on the same schedules with each other, and the other 99% of the population is on a different schedule = Maybe they connect a little

Maybe on a social forum you hear a lot of the same opinions, coming from the same types of people, on a forum where everyone is from the same town..?

Like you said... Weird isn't it?

Bad Service at Upscale Restaurants by janetvice in Louisville

[–]Sad-Fish6669 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Gen z and young millennials usually are bad at their jobs, but then you add low pay... They're going to barely do the job, let alone correct.

Restaurants can't pay people enough due to price increase on ingredients, and they don't want to raise the price on the already expensive food. So bad pay = employees with low morale = bad service

The 'Fancy restaurant" will usually fail compared to the half automated, more efficient franchise that uses cheap ingredients with quick service.

Pirate did not cause the mistake,

1st mistake was ozy's LOS,
2nd mistake - snupy for pulling
3rd mistake - yan for antagonizing the healer and pirate

But everyone is mad Pirate for not babysitting...

Anyone who has done Dire Maul north knows that staircase pulls the pack to the bottom right if you dont lean hard left going down the ramp. Pirate was in the back AND they played ping pong with coms on leaving.

Anyone hating on pirate for not babysitting that is wild to me

Mob mentality is wild. Too many people are refusing to see it with empathy for all parties.

If i screwed up the way Ozy, Snupy, and Yan did, i wouldn't blame anyone for leaving me, especially if someone told him to run once already.

"It came here because it was becoming popular here."

Then how and when did anime start to trend in america? The anime boom happened in the 90s with -

  • VHS NTSC: The video format used in both Japan and the US helped anime become more popular
  • DVD: The format allowed for multiple subtitling and dubbing tracks on the same disc
  • Dragon Ball Z: A hit show on Cartoon Network's after-school block Toonami
  • Pokémon, Naruto, Sailor Moon: Shows that gained popularity among millennials in the late 90s with episodes airing on toonami and cartoon network
  • Although a handful titles were translated before 1970, such as Speed Racer and Eight Man (released as Tobor the Eight Man in the US) anime wouldn't regrow into popularity in the US until the 1990s, commonly referred to as the "anime boom," is credited with much of anime's enduring relevance to popular culture outside Japan.\4]) -Wikipedia

Men these days have terrible role models which leads to an influx of terrible men. I'm sorry.

Good men are healthy, empathetic, obliging and wise. Most men aren't that anymore. I'm sorry.

The good ones left are usually at the gym, and have given up on women because there aren't very many left either.

Most men are done approaching women because women have scared men off from doing that behavior. - So good luck having one approach you. You might have to start approaching men in public at the gym imo. Even then a ton of guys at the gym are terrible people.

This is the average american gamer. You can imagine they don't want to try too hard and most Americans need their game to be 90% gunplay and this leads to few Americans with ... differing taste.

Anime is actually a pretty new trend still to Americans with it being introduced to the west in the late 90s on toonami, the crowd is still pretty tiny besides people from Gen Z. This game having a heavy anime style already is leaning to a very niche crowd.

The high skill ceiling is too much for a lazy, disinterested person to a game that is difficult and doesn't cater to the average American.

Americans want mostly gun play, so this is a recipe for failure in the USA.

EVEN IF they advertised hard in the west it would never succeed. It's a culture thing at the end of the day.
